Job Title: Graduate Acoustic Consultant

Job Description:

Due to continued and sustained growth, our client is looking to recruit a Graduate Acoustic Consultant to be actively involved in the assessment of noise for various projects within the planning system, ranging from simple housing developments to large, national infrastructure projects.

The Role

  • Undertake noise monitoring, modelling and assessment works
  • Safe, profitable and timely delivery / management of all assigned sites and projects
  • Input to proposal writing, and factual / interpretative reporting
  • Providing first class customer service to existing and new clients
  • As part of a close-knit team you will actively contribute towards the successful delivery of the Division’s business plan and targets
  • Ensure professional relationships (internal / external) are developed and maintained to maximise the opportunity to successfully procure and profitably deliver projects
  • To manage and co-ordinate information and the communication process both within the team and to external bodies
  • To attend weekly / monthly progress meetings
  • To ensure that any arising issues are managed to the requirements of the company procedures and remain of prime importance

The Person

  • It is desirable that you are educated to degree level (or equivalent)
  • You will possess experience of noise monitoring and assessment procedures
  • Familiar and competent in the application of all relevant British Standards
  • You will possess excellent report writing skills
  • Experience of noise modelling using CADnaa or similar software
  • Excellent organisational and numerical skills with experience of managing your own workload
  • Excellent communication skills, and confidence to liaise directly with Clients
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is required
